The Exec Board works with the Organizing Committee members to create events that help strengthen the international community on campus. Exec elections are held every year in Spring.

Kuan-Yu’s ultimate dream is to be rich and live in the center of New York City YEAAHHH BABY
VP:
Akhil Menon
Akhil is a south Indian boy who grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. He studies economics, business, and marketing and has a passion for good design. Akhil doesn’t enjoy anything more than good company and decent music. Since you won’t learn much about him by reading this, you should smile at him instead and he may or may not smile back. Chances are, he will smile back, though.
Treasurer:
Michael Rühl-Wolfe
Michael Rühl-Wolfe is half Canadian and half German. He was born in Calgary, Canada, where he spent the first few years of his life, but essentially grew up in Germany. Michael is currently pursuing a degree in Economics and Legal Studies at Northwestern. His interests tend to include a little bit of everything and he very much enjoys travelling and exploring different cultures. One of his favorite pastimes is exploring Chicago and all it has to offer, be it concerts, museums or nightlife. An avid cook, Michael enjoys a good meal both at restaurants and at home. His future plans are to break into the investment banking industry.
Secretary:
Anay Dave
Anay is one of the better looking members of ISA, and has always been the center of attention. Brought up in Bombay, Dubai and Jakarta, Anay really has experienced many different cultures. His ultimate goal is to have a six-pack but he is thwarted by foods such as Chipotle, Thai Curry and his bed which he doesn’t feel like leaving. Anay loves ISA so much that he is willing to take on the role of secretary despite the numerous slutty secretary jokes his friends made/will make.
Senior Executive Advsior:
Rin Nirundonpruk
Rin is a junior majoring in Industrial Engineering and Economics. She is from Bangkok, Thailand, but has been studying in the UK and US for half of her life. She loves traveling, learning about different cultures, and trying new FOOD. In her free time, Rin enjoys working out and playing sports (mainly Squash), baking, watching the Food Network (hoping to learn how to actually cook things other than stir fry), going to concerts, and hanging out with her friends.
Social Chairs:

Santiago Nielsen is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, but has lived most of his life in the United States and Switzerland, having completed high school in Zurich. He also enjoys playing the trumpet, playing tennis, and going to the gym.
Raisa Chowdhury
Raisa was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. With her ardent needs to keep moving, she has lived in Wales, the United States and hopes to move to wherever her heart takes her next. She is constantly puzzled by the mysteries of life. The search for truth, above all else, drives her. Just kidding. She enjoys nothing more than good conversations, absolutely random adventures and her morning cup of tea with her family. She is currently studying Engineering and Economics and just hopes she does not decide to move onto other majors. If you find her around campus, looking deep in thought, it’s because she is clearly trying to solve the mysteries of life. If you come talk to her, she might tell you some of her fascinating thoughts. And she might even shock with a BIG HUG.
Team Development Chairs:
Maddie Bryen
Maddie hails from the great state of Michigan and is proud to bring some American flare to this years ISA Exec. She is majoring in journalism, with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications, and minoring in French. Maddie enjoys speaking French, traveling, meeting new people, laughing and theater. She is also a member of Kappa Delta, ISA World Cup, and Dance Marathon Public Relations.
Christian Yenko
Chris likes to build things, eat, and not sleep. When he is sleeping, he dreams of building things, eating, and not sleeping (just kidding he doesn’t dream). After many innocuous pictures and videos of Chris were dug up from his Facebook timeline and publicized, Chris has learned to hide vaguely misinterpret-able material from his friends. He sends his regards and a picture of this amiable baby seal.
Cultural Awareness and Affairs Chair:
Anandita Puri
Anandita Puri is from New Delhi, in India but lives in Dubai, the two most awesome cities ever! She is a sophomore studying Econ and Psychology with a BIP minor. Outside of ISA, she’s doing World Cup, NUMUN, AIESEC and Phonathon (moneymoneymoney). She loovvess meeting new people, especially internationals! Shisha (or hookah) is one of her weaknesses, along with ice cream and Indian food. She can’t handle the cold so is going to escape to Cali ASAP after graduation, and eventually settle somewhere in Asia (hopefully)!
External Relations Chair:
Juliette Lim
Krithika stupidly chose to take ISP as a major. She supplemented this with the relatively easy subject of Economics. Like most cool Indians, she was born in Mumbai and spent most of her childhood there before pursuing her IB in the Sevenoaks School in England. Her interests include food (a lot of it) and TV shows. She watches brainless shows such as Vampire Diaries to pass time from her strenuous major. Her hobbies include photography and sleeping.
Global Engagement Chair:
Lara Saldanha
Lara Saldanha doesn’t know where she’s from since she was born in Japan, is of Indian origin, lived in the United States for ten years, and also lived in the Philippines, Singapore, and Geneva, Switzerland most recently. A freshman piano performance major (which is pretty awesome) in Bienen and Economics major (which is not so awesome) in Weinberg, Lara loves to sing obnoxiously, read, run if she’s not feeling particularly lazy, play the piano when everyone else is asleep, eat spicy food and sinful amounts of Swiss chocolate, travel, and, most importantly, sleep.
Public Relations & Merchandising Chair:
Rebecca Lai
I was born in Perth, Australia and moved to Hong Kong when I was 5, and the first thing anyone knows about me is that I am from Hong Kong, extremely proud. I am majoring in Journalism and loves NBN and STITCH, both publications I highly recommend everyone to read or at least flip through it!! I love hanging out all day and doing nothing, but life is not easy so I work hard and play harder.
Technology & Web Development Chair:
Bruno Peynetti
Bruno, or ‘B-Dawg’ as he likes to be called around campus, is ISA’s Chief Technological Stud (CTS). He’s currently a Freshman, and enrolled in the McCormick School of Engineering because that is what the ladies like. When he is not benching triple plates and stylishly strolling down narrow streets like it’s his business, he enjoys mackin’ on the female denizens of Core and toning his ‘ceps.
